Three new character posters have been released for Scream, the fifth entry in the horror franchise. The posters show closeup photos of Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, and David Arquette holding Ghostface masks. Campbell appears to be surveying for danger, Arquette looks determined to stop the killer, and Cox exudes her character’s inquisitive nature. Each poster is accompanied by the tagline, “It’s always someone you know.”
Scream sees a new Ghostface stalking another batch of victims in Woodsboro – and they have ties to the original killers. This brings Sidney Prescott, Gale Weathers, and Dewey Riley back to face yet another killer as secrets from the past are dragged out into the open.
The enduring scream queens and king are joined by series newcomers Melissa Barrera, Jenna Ortega, Dylan Minnette, Jack Quaid, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Sonia Ammar, Mikey Madison, Mason Gooding, and Kyler Gallner. It’s directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, the duo behind Ready or Not.
Scream is set for theatrical release on January 14, 2022.
