Destiny can be a tricky thing. So can finding an artifact that gives one superpowers! Those are the lessons that Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani) learns in the new Ms. Marvel trailer, titled “Destiny.”

“Good is not a thing you are, it’s a thing you do.” That’s the advice that Kamala Khan is given while pondering how her hero, Captain Marvel, convinces people that she is good. Then as she acknowledges her habit of spending too much time in fantasy land, Kamala finds something special that turns her into a superhero. The second half of the trailer shows the new Ms. Marvel testing her powers to save people from bus accidents, villains, and more.

Ms. Marvel will start streaming on Disney+ on Wednesday, June 8, 2022. The MCU series also stars Alysia Reiner, Matt Lintz, Yasmeen Fletcher, Anjali Bhimani, Farhan Akhtar, Rish Shah, Zenobia Shroff, Laurel Marsden, Nimra Bucha, Adaku Ononogbo, and Mohan Kapur.
