Netflix has released the full length trailer for Stranger Things season four volume two and it is packed with details. Set to the sound of Kate Bush’s “Running Up that Hill,” the trailer follows our heroes into the Upside Down, the Creel House, and other dangerous locations to defeat Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower).

It opens with Brenner (Matthew Modine) informing Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) that, “I know you’re frightened. You’re terribly frightened by what you’ve seen. But I’m not going to lie to you, your friends are not prepared for this fight. Hawkins will fall.” To which the determined young heroine responds, “My friends need me.”

The haggard, yet determined Hawkins crew have commandeered an RV and are heading into battle. Nancy (Natalia Dyer) appears in the lab filled with dead bodies between her and Vecna, Eddie (Joseph Quinn) finds and plays a guitar in the Upside Down, and Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) fights his witch-hunting basketball teammate. Will (Noah Schnapp) warns Mike (Finn Wolfhard) that Vecna or the Mind Flayer won’t stop “until he’s taken everyone,” and Hopper (David Harbour), Joyce (Winona Ryder), and Murray (Brett Gleman) find a new mysterious entity.

The final two episodes of Stranger Things season four will start streaming on Netflix on July 1, 2022. Titled “Chapter Eight: Papa” and “Chapter Nine: The Piggyback,” the supersized episodes have a runtime of almost four hours.

Stranger Things also stars Gaten Matarazzo, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Sadie Sink, Maya Hawke, and Priah Ferguson.
