The Big, Big Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide #52 has sold out through Diamond Comic Distributors and through the Gemstone Publishing webstore. The Big, Big version of the Guide is a larger format, limited print run that went on sale just two weeks ago on Wednesday, July 20, 2022.

The Big, Big Guide features just the pricing data with none of the articles, ads, or other content found in the standard edition of the book. While the Big, Big is usually offered with only one cover, for the 2022 edition, we provided not one but two great covers.

Rick Burchett returned to Archie’s 1990s Impact era Black Hood with a high-energy cover that was only available through Gemstone’s website, Diamond, and in comic shops.

Overstreet also celebrated the 40th anniversary of Diamond Comic Distributors with a limited edition cover. The PREVIEWS exclusive Diamond 40th anniversary edition cover features all of the other Guide covers from the book’s more than five decades of history.

Just because it’s sold out from the distributor and the publisher doesn’t mean comic shops don’t have them in stock. Those interested in purchasing the Big, Big #52 should check with their local comic book shop, as they may still have copies.

The standard edition of the Guide is still available, featuring Butch Guice’s Winter Soldier, J.G. Jones’ Black Terror, and Aaron Lopresti’s EC Horror Hosts covers. All are available in hardcover ($44.95) and soft cover ($34.95) versions. The Black Terror, which is our Overstreet Hall of Fame cover this year, and the EC Horror Hosts are exclusive to comic shops. The Winter Soldier hardcover is another comic shop exclusive, while the soft cover of that one will also be available in bookstores.
