Netflix has added several more actors to the upcoming live-action adaptation of Nickelodeon’s animated series, Avatar: The Last Airbender. The new cast members include Star Trek and pop culture icon George Takei, Teen Wolf’s Arden Cho, and Community star Danny Pudi.

Takei has joined the series as Koh, an ancient spirit from the Spirit World. Cho will play June, a tough and relentless bounty hunter from Earth Kingdom. Pudi has been cast as the Mechanist, an inventor from Earth Kingdom trying to raise his son in the war ravaged world.

Avatar: The Last Airbender has recently added multiple other cast members including Amber Midthunder as the Water Tribe’s spiritual leader Princess Yue and Utkarsh Ambudkar as King Bumi, the mercurial ruler of Omashu. Momona Tamada will play Ty Lee, one of Princess Azula’s friends, and Randall Duk Kim has been cast as Wan Shi Tong, the Spirit of Knowledge.

Albert Kim (Sleepy Hollow) is serving as the showrunner, writer, and executive producer on the project, and Michael Goi, Lindsey Liberatore, and Dan Lin are also executive producers.
