Ahead of season four, The Boys has dropped a promotional video updating the public on the success of Vought.
Posted on the Vought International Twitter account, the video stars Vought’s new CEO Ashley Barrett (Colby Minifie) who extols growth in Vought’s crimefighting contracts and other business avenues. She highlights the Vought reconstruction project, Black Noir’s international mission, and the rise in Homelander’s approval rating. She brags about how much they’ve accomplished compared to her predecessor Stan Edgar (Giancarlo Esposito). The video ends with her discussing the need for new members of The Seven, following Starlight’s exit, branding her as a traitor.
Season four of The Boys will add Jeffrey Dean Morgan as a morally ambiguous, flawed hero; and new Supes Firecracker (Valorie Curry), who has pyrokinetic powers, and Sage (Susan Heyward), a clairvoyant – both of whom were created for the TV series and are not adapted from the comics. Simon Pegg will return as Hughie’s father Mr. Campbell, and Homelander’s son, Ryan (Cameron Crovetti), has been promoted to series regular.
The Boys season four does not have a release date yet. The first three seasons are streaming on Prime Video.
