The Will & Ann Eisner Family Foundation is promoting Will Eisner Week 2023, which will be held on March 1-7. There are currently around two dozen retailers set to participate in the event and they are seeking to get more involved.

Will Eisner Week is an annual event held in comic shops, bookstores, schools, libraries, and museums. Not only is it meant to celebrate the indelible impact Eisner had on comics and pop culture, but also to promote comics and sequential art and graphic novel literacy. It began in two locations in New York in 2009 and has since expanded to hundreds of events held around the world in-person and virtually.
