The Illustrated Word Gallery is presenting the Joe Parente Collection – Little Nemo Shop Collection exhibit and sale. It began on August 2, 2023, and runs through October 14 at the Society of Illustrators in New York City.

The exhibit and sale feature 75 lots with 125 pages of original art by Neal Adams (Creepy), Pete Alvardo, Murphy Anderson (Atom and Hawkman), Ken Barr, Frank Brunner (first Hellcow), Rich Buckler, John Buscema (Thor), Nick Cardy, Vince Colletta (Love Romance), Howard Chaykin, Dave Cockrum (Nightcrawler), Gene Colan, Dan DeCarlo (Betty and Veronica), Dick Dillin, Steve Ditko (Creeper), Lee Elias, Steve Gan (Conan), Reg Greenwood, Fred Guardineer (Space Ace), Russ Heath, Carmine Infantino (Star Wars), and Gil Kane, Jack Kirby (Captain America).
