It’s time to look at the flowers and enjoy delicious cookies because Carol Peletier is returning to the world of The Walking Dead soon.

The popular character played by Melissa McBride is reuniting with her apocalypse BFF Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) on The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon – The Book of Carol. AMC has provided first look photos, a new synopsis, and announced that the show will premiere on Sunday, September 19, 2024, on AMC and AMC+.

The France-set series ended the first season with Daryl escorting Laurent (Louis Puech Scigliuzzi) and Isabelle (Clémence Poésy) to the Nest, and helping the Union de l’Espoir to stop Madame Genet (Anne Charrier) and the Guerriers from experimenting on walkers. Back in the US, Carol has found Daryl’s bike and uses it to follow the trail of her missing friend.

The Book of Carol will see Carol still searching for Daryl while he wrestles with his decision to stay in France. Meanwhile, Genet is gaining power, and the Pouvoir and the Union of Hope will battle for control of France’s future.

Season two will see the returns of Poésy, Scigliuzzi, Charrier, Romain Levi as ex-Guerrier Codron, and Eriq Ebouaney as Union alley and Montmarte leader Fallou.
