After seven years and six seasons, Cobra Kai is coming to an end. But as we learned way back in 1984, Cobra Kai never dies – and that’s the message in the trailer for season six part three, the final episodes of the show.
The first minute of the trailer recaps what has happened so far – from the original conflict between Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) to the battles that the new crop of teens have faced over the years. Then it catches up to the present when the Sekai Taikai tournament ended early after Cobra Kai fighter Kwon died on the mat in an all-out brawl.
Despite the tragedy, the tournament is back on – and it appears to be happening in the Valley. The fighters are regrouping and training harder than ever. Sam (Mary Mouser) isn’t sure what she’s fighting for, Miguel (Xolo Maridueña) encourages Robby (Tanner Buchanan) for his fight with the much larger Axel (Patrick Luwis), and Tori (Peyton List) is chomping at the bit to face Zara (Rayna Vallandingham). As the fighters hit the mat and Daniel teaches Johnny the crane kick, the trailer hits the nostalgia button by playing The Karate Kid’s tournament song “You’re the Best.”
Cobra Kai season six also stars Courtney Henggeler, Jacob Bertrand, Gianni DeCenzo, Martin Kove, Yuji Okumoto, Vanessa Rubio, Griffin Santopietro, Dallas Dupree Young, Kim Da-Eun, and Thomas Ian Griffith.
Season six part three will start streaming on Netflix soon on February 13, 2025.
