eMoviePoster opened their four-part September Major Auction this week, featuring a wide variety of material with 790 items from all over the world and every decade of film in different sizes.

Part I with 227 linen-backed U.S. posters is open now through Sunday, September 8.

Part II featuring 165 linen-backed international and non-movie posters is open now through Tuesday, September 10.

Part III with 247 non-linen movie and other posters, lobby cards, and much more is open through September 12.

Part IV contains 151 non-linen rolled posters and a few flat items and starts September 8.

Linen-backed highlights from Part I and II include one-sheets of The Day the Earth Stood Still, Matri-Phony, Sunset Boulevard, Monkey Businessmen, Vertigo, Charlie Chan at Monte Carlo, The Postman Always Rings Twice, Vertigo, Dr. No, Bullitt, The Lady from Shanghai, Lawless Range, Thunderball, Not of this Earth, Star Wars international style C, Return of the Jedi teaser with Revenge title, and Blonde Comet.

Other highlights include French one-panels for Oh Doctor, La Valse Renversante, and By the Sea, TWA Las Vegas travel poster, War of the Worlds Australian daybill, La Syphilis French health poster, and Dr. No Belgian poster.

Three surprising results from the auction that closed on September 3 were The Birds one-sheet for $716, Over the Edge one-sheet for $627, and Breezy one-sheet for $408.

eMoviePoster doesn’t just auction U.S. and international movie posters. They also auction many tens of thousands of vintage stills, lobby cards, as well as scripts, all sorts of special non-movie posters (including lots of war and travel posters, plus Mondo signed limited editions), autographed items of every kind, and more.

They add around 2,500 unique new lots in their Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday auctions – which has culminated to 1,600,000 items. They also hold a special giant auction of bulk lots once every month with 15,000 or more items, with the next one starting on September 15.
