Heritage Auctions is offering the second part of their David Hall T206 Collection on September 19, 2019. Several PSA Mint 9 examples of these century-old baseball cards are featured in this collection; the first part of the David Hall T206 Collection recently helped contribute to an $8.3 million total for the auction house.

Among the featured items in this lineup are the 1909-1911 T206 Piedmont 350 Miller Huggins (Hands at Mouth) PSA Mint 9, the 1909-1911 T206 Piedmont 150 Willie Keeler (With Bat) PSA Mint 9, the 1909-1911 T206 Piedmont 150 Charley O’Leary (Portrait) PSA Mint 9, and the 1909-1911 T206 Piedmont 150 Jim Pastorious PSA Mint 9, all of which are cards with no higher graded examples out there.

Also of note is an extremely rare Ty Cobb Tobacco Tin, the finest example of such an item currently known. While more modern baseball cards are known for being wrapped in a piece of foil or wax paper and paired with a piece of gum, earlier cards were packaged with tobacco. The tobacco tin was one such way of selling chewing tobacco, and this Ty Cobb Granulated Cut Plug tin dates to 1910. The tin sports a portrait of Cobb with the bat at the ready and given its remarkable condition is primed for display.
