Gary Dolgoff Comics is selling an original 1939 copy of Superman #1 CGC 7.0 Restored. One of the biggest keys in comics, Superman #1 features the Man of Steel in his first solo title, with his first four stories from Action Comics, a two-page origin story, and the first pin-up illustration in a comic.

The book will be sold in the Gary Dolgoff Comics’ eBay store. The auction opens Thursday, October 10, 2019 and ends on Sunday, October 20.

The restoration consists of high quality archival materials and procedures. The CGC grader notes a color touch, cover cleaning, interior lightening, piece fill on the cover and interior, reinforcement to the centerfold and cover, and tear seals to cover. The grader also notes a medium crease and medium/light indent at the left bottom of the back cover, and moderate spine stress lines.
