ComicConnect added a variety of new items recently to their fixed price marketplace, including a selection by comics veteran and multi-talented artist, Kyle Baker. The Baker selection includes pin-ups and a variety of single character illustrations and painted studies.
“These are truly beautiful pieces that show off Kyle’s skill as an illustrator,” Vincent Zurzolo, ComicConnect’s COO said. “Plus, don’t miss all ten pages from his Harley Quinn story from the DC House of Horror anthology one-shot.”
A Kurt Schaffenberger double Superboy cover from The New Adventures of Superboy #10 featuring Krypto is one of the highlights of the recent additions, as well as a Giant-Size Avengers #4 page featuring Thor and Hawkeye by Don Heck.“Plus, we’re offering a cool Don Heck and Mike Esposito page from Ka-Zar #5, and two complete stories from the Iger Studios romance comics of the 1950s packed with classic art from Secret Romances #14 and Love and Marriage #11,” Zurzolo added.
“I’m thrilled to bring to market beautiful pages and illustrations by Dheeraj Verma,” Zurzolo continued. “Verma works almost exclusively in pencils, to incredible effect, crafting exquisitely detailed drawings that need to be seen to be appreciated.” The selection includes pages from Conan the Slayer #12 (Dark Horse Comics’ last Conan comic), IDW’s Transformers: Robots in Disguise #19, an IDW G.I. Joecover and an assortment of publication quality character illustrations.
Zurzolo will also be attending C2E2 in Chicago on February 28-March 1, 2020. He will be set up at booth #1319 with a selection of comics and original comic art and will be buying collections while accepting consignments for ComicConnect’s next big auction.
