Spider-Man’s origin is retold and Clock Maker is introduced in a pair of key comic highlights in Heritage’s Sunday & Monday Comics, Animation, & Art Weekly Online Auction.
The Amazing Spider-Man #1 CGC 3.0 retells Spider-Man’s origin and contains the first appearances of J. Jonah Jameson, John Jameson, and the supervillain the Chameleon, as well as the first Fantastic Four crossover. Ranked No. 7 on Overstreet’s list of the Top 50 Silver Age Comics, the issue features art and cover by Steve Ditko.
A rare copy of the an early Batman comic is also offered with Batman #6 CGC 4.5, with the first appearance and “death” of the Clock Maker. The issue, which also includes a text story by Gardner Fox, features a cover and art by Bob Kane and Jerry Robinson.
