On August 26-27, 2020, Prop Store will host an Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction in Los Angeles with some extraordinary pieces from over 350 titles. Items from Star Wars, Alien, Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones, and other popular titles are among the selection of 870 lots of rare props, costumes, and production material.

Pete “Maverick” Mitchell (Tom Cruise) fighter pilot helmet from Top Gun and the 11-foot Nostromo principal filming model from Alien are some of the top lots. An Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) dueling lightsaber from Attack of the Clones and Raven Bar & Well of Souls Staff of Ra headpiece from Raiders of the Lost Ark are also featured lots. Two of the auction’s biggest items are the 1966 Cadillac Coupe De Ville and 1964 Karmann Ghia from Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

Costumes gaining attention include Darth Vader promotional costume from A New Hope, V’s stunt costume from V for Vendetta, and Michael Corleone (Al Pacino) tan Miami suit display from The Godfather Part II. Louise (Susan Sarandon) jacket from Thelma & Louise and Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) arena costume from The Hunger Games are offered.

More noteworthy props are Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) boxing gloves from Rocky and Peter Banning (Robin Williams) sword from Hook. Also, Josey Wales (Clint Eastwood) screen-matched blank-firing Hero Colt Walker-style revolver from The Outlaw Josey Wales and Alfred Hitchcock’s Vista Vision motion picture camera from Vertigo.

The selection of costumes includes Neil Armstrong (Ryan Gosling) screen-matched Gemini spacesuit from First Man and Elizabeth Swan (Keira Knightley) dress from Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. Barf (John Candy) costume from Spaceballs and Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell) blue suit from Anchorman will also be sold.

Additional props are Egon Spengler (Harold Ramis) uniform patch from Ghostbusters II, Velociraptor stop-motion puppets from Jurassic Park, the board game from Jumanji, stop motion Zero puppet from Nightmare Before Christmas, and Xenomorph Queen model miniature puppet from Aliens.
