Early issues of Tales of Terror and Captain America Comics are among the featured lots in Heritage’s Sunday & Monday Comics, Animation, Video Games & Art Weekly Online Auction. Comics close on February 28, followed by everything else on March 1, 2021.

Tales of Terror Annual #1 CGC 2.5 is a 70-year-old key boasting a cover by Al Feldstein. Currently ranked at No. 5 on Overstreet’s Top Ten Horror Comics list, this issue is listed as “scarce” by Overstreet.

A restored copy of Captain America Comics #6 CGC Apparent 4.5 Slight (B-1) featuring a Jack Kirby cover of Cap taking on the Nazis is also in the auction. Kirby also did the interior art for the 43-page main story, along with Al Gabriele, Joe Simon, and Al Avison. The CGC notes state, “Restoration includes: small amount of color touch on cover, pieces added to cover, cover and interior reinforced.”
