The highest graded copy of America’s Best Comics #20 and the first appearance of Immortus in Avengers #10 lead Heritage’s Sunday & Monday Comic Books Select Auction. Comics close on August 8, 2021, followed by everything else on August 9.

America’s Best Comics #20 CGC 9.0 is the highest graded copy and only one at that grade, according to the CGC census. Alex Schomburg created the cover for the issue, which features appearances by Black Terror, Fighting Yank, and Doc Strange.

The evil Immortus is introduced in a high grade copy of The Avengers #10 CGC 8.5, which also teases a breakup of the Avengers on the Jack Kirby cover. The issue has an early appearance by Hercules, as well as appearances by Baron Zemo, Enchantress, and Executioner, and a Captain America pin-up.
