ComicLink’s Fall Featured Auction launches Friday, November 19, 2021, starting at 8 PM ET/5 PM PT. A preview is now available and once the auction is open, bidding can be done in the Focused Auction section.
The auction features one of the best selections of certified comics and original art that ComicLink has ever offered. It contains most of the Silver Age major keys in higher grades, including an in-depth selection of Stan Lee Signature Series examples from the collection of Lee’s tailor, David Parsow. There’s a broad selection of Golden Age goodies including Superman #1 CGC 0.5Q (married centerfold), Batman #1 CGC 1.8, and Captain America Comics #1 CGC 5.5 Conserved. There are high grade examples of Bronze Age keys and a large selection of Modern Age keys like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1 CGC 9.8 Signature Series signed and sketched by Kevin Eastman on the front and back cover.
There are hundreds of original art lots, such as three Barry Windsor-Smith covers led by the “Weapon X” cover from Marvel Comics Presents #79, which is the only cover from the run of Wolverine wearing the Weapon X helmet. There are also several Todd McFarlane Spider-Man offerings, including one of his best covers.
Note: All comic books in this article are CGC-certified and all Signature Series books are signed by Stan Lee unless otherwise noted.
