In the next Sunday & Monday Comic Books Select Auction, Heritage is selling the first appearances of Scarlet Witch and Sandman. Comics in the auction close on November 28, 2021, followed by everything else on November 29.

X-Men #4 CGC 4.5 is packed with the introductions of Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, Toad, Mastermind, and the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, plus the second appearance of Magneto. Jack Kirby created the cover and teamed up with Paul Reinman on the art for the issue.

The origin and first appearance of the Sandman, the shapeshifting villain, is in The Amazing Spider-Man #4 CGC 3.0. It also includes the first appearances of Betty Brant, J. Jonah Jameson’s personal secretary, and Liz Allen, a popular girl at Peter Parker’s high school. Steve Ditko created the cover and the art for the issue.
