Pedigree comics will offer the fifth part of the Panhandle Collection in the upcoming Late May Grand Auction. The auction features around 250 high grade Bronze Age Marvel books, including an X-Men run.  

The auction is scheduled to begin on Sunday, May 15, 2022, and last for ten days until Wednesday, May 25 as a separate event on the Pedigree Comics website.

There is no buyer’s premium on any of the lots in the auction and every book will be listed with no reserve. Every book is CGC-graded and the minimum bid is $20 for this auction. Over 200 lots can be viewed in the auction preview on Pedigree’s website by clicking on the auction banner.

The best and deepest run of the auction is the 1970s Bronze Age “New” X-Men run. There are over 30 issues between X-Men #97 and #141, almost all graded CGC 9.4 to 9.8, and a Giant-Size X-Men #1 (the first appearance of the new X-Men) in 9.6.

Highlights of the new X-Men run from the Panhandle Collection include X-Men #97 9.4, #100 9.4, #103 9.4, #105 9.4, #116 9.4, #118 9.8, #119 9.6, #122 9.6, #123 9.8, #124 9.6, #125 9.4, #127 9.6, #128 9.6, #129 9.6, #133 9.6, #135 9.6, #136 9.4, #137 9.6, #138 9.6, #139 9.6, #140 9.8, and #141 9.6.
