Throughout May 2022, eMoviePoster hosted auctions with one-sheets, pressbooks, lobby cards, special posters, and bulk lots. Collectively, their auctions saw a total of $296,154.

The auction that ended on Tuesday, May 10, contained 2,262 folded US and international posters, pressbooks, lobby cards, stills, and much more with a total of $140,065. Three surprising results included a Star Wars three-sheet for $1,800, The Birds one-sheet for $1,028, and Thunderbirds Are Go set of 7 lobby cards for $691.

The auction on Thursday, May 12 was filled with 1,500 one-sheets, international posters, and special posters, bringing in $93,535. A few surprises were a Star Wars signed half-sheet for $2,533, a Hustler 30” x 40” rerelease for $2,322, and an Air France Paris French travel poster for $1,446.

The Sunday, May 15 auction featured 1,287 bulk lots containing 30,075 items, bringing in $62,554. Three top sales were a lot of 46 I Love Lucy TV photos for $675, a lot of the first 11 Star Wars comic books for $600, and a lot of 27 Marvel Comics mylar marquees for $276.

eMoviePoster is still accepting consignments for their August Major Auction, which starts on July 17, as well as their 23rd Annual Halloween Auction. They are also accepting consignments of unslabbed and ungraded comic books. Their all-autographed auction containing only vintage signed items, and no signed repros, starts May 22.
