During May 2023, eMoviePoster hosted three auctions with everything from photo stills and lobby cards to large quantity bulk lots. Collectively, the auctions saw a total of $328,913.

The Tuesday, May 9 auction of 1,616 US and international posters, lobby cards, stills, and more realized $147,417. Three surprising results from that auction were a Dracula Has Risen from The Grave one-sheet for $3,100, Dial M For Murder one-sheet for $1,666, and Sunrise 8” x 10” still for $1,150.

The Thursday, May 11 auction of 1,100 US and international posters and non-movie posters went for $101,864. Three top results were an Interstellar advance one-sheet for $1,910, Return of the Jedi printer’s test one-sheet for $1,850, and A Nightmare On Elm Street British quad for $1,612.

The Sunday, May 14 auction of 1,187 bulk lots that were filled with 48,765 items brought $79,632. Highlights were a lot of 13 folded horror/sci-fi one-sheets for $1,100, a lot of 41 folded horror/sci-fi one-sheets for $523, and a lot of 37 Walt Disney 8” x 10” stills for $480.

eMoviePoster has already received hundreds of consignments to their August Major Auction which starts on August 13, and a preview of some of those items is already available at the link above. They also have a special auction of vintage scripts, transparencies, and negatives that begins May 21.
