ComicConnect’s is now a week into  Event Auction 58 with 1,700 items up for bid, including nearly 1,300 comic books from every era, over 300 pieces of original art, and other memorabilia ranging from animation cels to Golden Age legal documents.

Some of the top lots are the Superman #1 CGC 2.0, Action Comics #1, Giant-Size X-Men #1 CGC 9.9 (only one in grade), Wonder Woman’s debut in All Star Comics #8, and Spider-Man’s introduction in Amazing Fantasy #15 5.0. Event Auction 58 includes Barry Allen’s debut in Showcase #4 6.5, and Detective Comics #31 5.0 and 6.0, #38, and #168 9.0 (Joker’s origin).

Top original art lots are John Romita Sr.’s signed Captain America #164 cover introducing the deadly Nightshade, John Byrne’s Iron Fist #15 half-splash of Wolverine and Danny Rand, Adam Kubert’s Wolverine #88 double-spread of the first encounter between Logan and Deadpool, Frank Miller and Al Milgrom’s Moon Knight #12 brutal battle cover for Morpheus’ first appearance, and Frank Frazetta’s Thun’da, King of the Congo #1 page.
