Alaska is calling, will you answer? On May 4-5, 2019, Arctic Comic Con is being held at the Dena’ina Civic and Convention Center on 600 West 7th Avenue in Anchorage, Alaska. 

Exciting special guests attending the show include Dean Cain (Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman), David Yost (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers), Seth Gilliam (The Walking Dead), Chase Masterson (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine), Martin Klebba (Pirates of the Caribbean), Jerome St. John Blake (Star Wars), Scott Schwartz (A Christmas Story), Gregory “The Hurricane” Helms (pro wrestler), Arthur Suydam (Deadpool), Michael Golden (X-Men) and Adam Hughes (Wonder Woman). 

Throughout the convention, attendees can enjoy panels and workshops across the genres of comics, fantasy, science fiction, and others. Later on, cosplayers can strut their stuff in the Cosplay Cup and the Family Cosplay Walk-On events. There will also be autograph and signing sessions with celebrity guests taking place across the two days. A new feature of the show is the Warehouse 49 Gaming Tournament, which will include PC and console gaming as well as tabletop. 

The con is running Saturday 12 PM to 7 PM and Sunday 12 PM to 6 PM. One-day adult passes are $33 for Saturday and $28 for Sunday. Youth (6-12) passes are $15 for Saturday and $12 for Sunday. A full weekend pass is $53 with Gold and Platinum VIP passes currently still available. Children 5 and under are admitted for free with a paid adult.
