The first-ever Big Easy Con by Leftfield Media, will launch on June 1-2, 2019 in Louisiana. The two-day weekend celebrating the art of gaming, sci-fi, cosplay, fantasy, and everything in between is being held at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center on 900 Convention Center Boulevard in New Orleans, Louisiana.  

Special guests attending the show include Amy Jo Johnson (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers), Lennie James and Laurie Holden (The Walking Dead), Brent Spiner (Star Trek: The Next Generation), C. Thomas Howell (The Outsiders), Ron Perlman (Hellboy), Kristin Bauer (Once Upon a Time), Lou Ferrigno (Incredible Hulk), Robert Englund (Nightmare on Elm Street), Big E and Xavier Woods (WWE), Adam Kubert (X-Men), Charles Soule (Daredevil), Chrissie Zullo (Josie and the Pussycats), David Finch (The Death of Captain America), Jeff Parker (Agents of Atlas), Kyle Starks (Rick and Morty), and Peter Tomasi (Batman and Robin). 

Throughout the show, fans can explore hours of programs including celebrity and expert-driven panel discussions, exclusive reveals, cosplay fashion shows, gaming tournaments, iconic pop culture art exhibits, video game showdowns, and a diverse array of activities for fans of all ages. Special guests will also be on hand to meet and take photos with fans, sign autographs, and discuss their careers and upcoming projects.

The family-friendly pavilion Big Easy Con Jr., presented by the Toy Association, brings new and beloved toy and pop culture brands together in one area for an interactive and fun-filled live event open to kids and parents alike. Attendees will have the opportunity to see esteemed comic publishers at the event, such as Dark Horse Comics and Oni Press, and Legendary. Exciting additions include Artist Alley, a curated section of the exhibit hall floor for comic creators, webcomic artists, professional writers/illustrators and 2D artists, and Makers Market, an exhibit showcasing artisans and crafters original hand making goods for guests to enjoy.

The con is running Saturday 10 AM to 7 PM and Sunday 10 AM to 5 PM. One-day passes are $40 for Saturday, $35 for Sunday and $60 for a full weekend pass. Children, ages 3-10, are admitted for $10 every day. VIP passes and experiences range from Fast Pass ($149) to the limited quantity – Ron Perlman Premium Package ($299) and Robert Englund Premium package ($374).
