Just before Thanksgiving, superheroes, sci-fi stars, and creators are heading to the west coast for Wizard World Bay Area. The comic and pop culture event will be held on November 22-24, 2019, at the Oakland Convention Center, 550 10th Street, Oakland, CA.

Media guests include Jason Momoa (Aquaman), Jeff Goldblum (Jurassic Park), Jewel Staite (Stargate: Atlantis), Sam J. Jones (Flash Gordon), Claudia Wells (Back to the Future), Brian Krause (Charmed), Barry Williams (The Brady Bunch), Thomas Ian Nicholas (Rookie of the Year), Samm Levine (Freaks and Geeks), and Kevin Nash (pro wrestler).

Ron Marz (Silver Surfer), Alexis E. Fajardo (Kid Beuwolf), Joe Wos (MazeToons, An Animation), and Andrew Farago (TMNT: Ultimate Visual History) lead the artists and writers. Additional creators are Christian Gossett, Woodside Illustrations, Art of Megan Withey, Hero Wares and Supplies, Octopunx, Metalsouls, Mog Park, George Michail, and others.

The con will run Friday 4 PM to 9 PM, Saturday 10 AM to 7 PM, and Sunday 10 AM to 4 PM. In addition to vendors and guests, the show will have after hours events, workshops, gaming, panels, and cosplay, among other activities.
