The next California Comic Convention will be held on Sunday, January 26, 2020. For their 14th year, the convention is relocating to the Westin South Coast Plaza at 686 Anton Boulevard, Costa Mesa, CA.

This event will focus on vintage comics and comic book art. Dozens of dealers from across the U.S. will offer a large selection of items sought-after by collectors.

Guest artists at the show include Jim Steranko (Strange Tales), Michael Golden (Mister Miracle, Batman), Eric Larsen (Savage Dragon, Spider-Man), Joe Staton (Power Girl, Superboy), and Renee Witterstaetter (Avengers, Captain America). They will sign and may sketch during the show.

CGC will accept attendees’ submissions and witness signatures of their guest artists. In addition, they will raffle dozens of valuable items throughout the day including CGC-graded comics, original comic book pages, and guest artist sketches.

Heritage Auctions is a co-sponsor of Mr. Steranko and will be set-up and taking consignments at this event.

The convention will be open on January 26 from 9:30 AM to 5 PM and the price is $20. Special events on January 25 include CGC drop offs from 1 PM to 3 PM (admission is $10) and the artist reception, which includes dinner, from 6 PM to 10 PM (admission is $30). Parking at the show is $10.
