The moments people remember from childhood are often the small ones. Isabelle Bridges-Boesch and her father Jeff Bridges (The Big Lebowski) bring those small moments to life in their new children’s book Daddy Daughter Day from Dark Horse Books. 

Written by Isabelle Bridges-Boesch, with illustrations by Jeff Bridges himself, Daddy Daughter Day is the story of a simple, fun day from Isabelle’s youth when one morning, Belle wakes up and declares the day “Daddy Daughter Day.” As the day turns into an adventure, the whole family comes along for the simple joy of being together. 

“This book has been inside of me for years. When I finally shared the idea with my dad he was instantly supportive and agreed to do the illustrations. Working on this project together has felt like one long Daddy Daughter Day because we really got to spend some time connecting and collaborating. I am so excited to share this book with anyone who wants to have a peek into what it was like to grow up being my dad’s daughter as well as anyone who is curious about creating their own Daddy Daughter Day (or Mommy Son Day, Sister Brother Day…),” said Isabelle Bridges-Boesch.
