The original screenplay for Alien has gotten the comic book treatment at Dark Horse. The first issue is now available, featuring the original story that screenwriter Dan O’Bannon wrote in 1976.

The crew of the starship Snark has intercepted an alien transmission on their way back to Earth. Investigating the signal, they find a desolate planetoid, an alien ship, and a mysterious pyramid structure. That’s when the horror begins.

The comic adaptation was written by Cristiano Seixas with art and cover by Guilherme Balbi and variant covers by Walter Simonson. Alien: The Original Screenplay #1 (of 5) is now available.
