BOOM! Studios is publishing a graphic novel adaptation of the American classic, Slaughterhouse-Five. The antiwar novel by Kurt Vonnegut was adapted by writer Ryan North (How to Invent Everything: A Survival Guide for the Stranded Time Traveler) and drawn by Albert Monteys (Universe!). It will be available in stores September 2020.

The journey Billy Pilgrim takes in Slaughterhouse-Five is a farcical look at the tragedy and horror found in war and the fallibility of human beings.

Vonnegut’s penchant for satire and black humor gained attention in The Sirens of Titan and he became recognized as a great American novelist for Cat’s Cradle.

The graphic novel adaptation will be in comic book stores on September 9, 2020, followed by book stores on September 15.
