Acursian, the mythological comic featuring the likeness of John Barrowman (Torchwood, Arrow), is now available in hardcover for the first time. Legendary Comics is releasing the complete saga, including the final chapter of time-traveler Charlie Stewart’s adventures.

Based in Celtic lore, the series fuses different myths that is told by co-creators Barrowman, Carole Barrowman (Hollow Earth trilogy), and Erika Lewis (Game of Shadows). It features art by Beni Lobel and designs by Tommy Lee Edwards.

Because of an ancient curse, Charlie Stewart’s every decision, choice, and relationship is destined to fail. Seeking to rectify his misfortunes, Charlie begins investigating the supernatural forces affecting his life and learns that he isn’t the only one being cursed – his entire family is too. This means that after the curse is done with Charlie, it’ll move on to his young son, unless he can stop it.
