Dynamite has collaborated with cosplayer, model, actress, and host Ani-Mia for a limited edition Vampirella cosplay cover. Specially presented in magazine size, the limited edition cover is available on Indiegogo.

Ani-Mia is a well known cosplayer and hosts programming for Diamond Comic Distributors’ PreviewsWorld content. She writes for Otaku USA magazine and Cosplay Central, and has been featured on previous Dynamite cosplay covers.

“Cosplaying has always been seen as a homage to a character or fandom that you’re passionate about. For me Vampirella, as a character, has always fully embodied the idea of a smart, sexy, and strong superhero with the extra ‘cool factor’ of being a vampire. Her story, starting from the Warren years is so rich and has evolved in so many different fashions creating this very determined and powerful modern woman in the series today.”

This special issue will include the contents and cover of Vampirella #67. That 1977 issue featured the character’s first cosplay cover, which had a photo of actress Barbara Leigh shot by Hank Londoner. Inside the book are 50 pages with six stories, among which is the lead piece by writer-editor Bill DuBay and artist Jose Gonzalez. Other stories showcase the art of Alex Niño, Esteban Maroto, Russ Heath, and Paul Neary.

The Indiegogo campaign will be open throughout August 2021.
