Image/Skybound has provided a first look at The Labyrinth, a story of ruin and vengeance set during a sci-fi apocalypse, by author Simon Stålenhag (The Electric State).

“There is no graphic fiction storyteller in the world like Simon Stålenhag, who’s crafted one of the most haunting and prescient stories of the year in The Labyrinth,” Sean Mackiewicz, SVP, Editor-in-Chief, Skybound Entertainment, said. “After a record-breaking Kickstarter campaign last year, The Labyrinth has become a worldwide sensation and we’re now glad to bring a new edition to fans looking for the perfect new hardcover for themselves or as a holiday gift.”

Two scientists and a boy named Charlie travel across a wasteland in search of a lone bunker hidden deep in the wilderness where the scientists plan to study the world ending phenomena. As they work, the claustrophobic surroundings and isolation starts affecting their mental health, and each is forced to deal with their histories and the direness of the situation.

The Labyrinth deluxe hardcover (Diamond Code JUN210136) will be in comic shops on November 3, 2021.
