Inversion introduces John Bowden, a time-traveling federal marshal who protects history from anyone in the present who would try to change the past. The science fiction, action/adventure series is written by Suzy Stein and Fernando Perez through Entity Eye Entertainment.

When Bowden discovers that his new partner murdered his previous partner, he vows to avenge his fallen friend. “But when Bowden learns of a government conspiracy involving divergent timelines, he must work with his rogue partner to figure out the truth before time is altered forever,” the synopsis reads.

Inversion takes inspiration from bizarre, albeit true, events. Since 2007, over 20 severed male feet – still in their socks and shoes – have washed up on the coast of northern Washington state. So far authorities have provided no explanation. The Inversion writers used that strange anomaly to develop the premise that they are all the same feet lost by someone traveling back in time over and over again as he attempts to save the world.

The cast of characters in Inversion are racially and gender diverse with an LGBT+ protagonist in Bowden. Cris Bolson provided the interior art, with the first cover by Richard Bagnall and second cover by David Mack. The first two issues are now available at www.entityeye.com and issue three is scheduled for release in late September 2022.
