The diaper babies are back and this time they are…heading to Middle Earth? Rugrats: The Last Token sees the Rugrats leading a quest, not unlike J.R.R. Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings. 

It all begins innocently enough with Stu and Drew taking the kids to the Wizard Rat arcade for a relaxing day of pizza and games. With Angelica’s sights set on scoring the ultimate prize, Suzie is left to keep the tots from being overwhelmed. A task that is easier said than done when the arcade’s token stock goes down and a frenzy breaks loose. When Tommy stumbles upon the last golden coin, he must lead the rest of the gang on a treacherous journey to the fabled volcano arcade machine. Of course one does not simply walk to Mount Token. But with one token to rule them all, a baby’s gotta do what a baby’s gotta do!

Writer Pranas T. Naujokaitis (Adventure Time: Ice King) pens a truly enjoyable adventure that perfectly merges the adventure of Tolkien’s world with the humor of the Rugrats. Meanwhile, the art by Maurizia Rubino brings the entire fantasy adventure clear off the page.
