The team in Angel & Spike are dealing with all kinds of trouble right now. Werewolves have been terrorizing Los Angeles and at the end of the last issue they caught one – who turned out to be Oz. Once the wolf turned back into his teenage self, Oz offers to help Angel, Spike, and Kate find the wolves that are slaughtering Los Angelenos.

Across town, Wolfram & Hart are digging even deeper into Fred as the demon Baphomet and other nasty entities are fighting to take possession of her body to unleash their own brand of hell.

It’s nice to see Oz in the new comics and like most of the other characters, he’s been given a new origin story. Angel and Oz had a unique dynamic when they worked together on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel, so it’ll be interesting to see how the creative team interprets it for the comic.
