The army of zombies is back to torment the heroes of Dynamite once again – now under the leadership of Evil Sonja, aka the Queen of Hel. The new event opens with Ash Williams stocking shelves at the S-Mart warehouse when Deadites attack. Elsewhere Tabu, Miss Fury, and Vampirella have just escaped a horde of zombies and find a new potential ally in Pantha.

The dead are everywhere, and things do not look good. While Ash dispatches a group of Deadites with his usual quippy comedy and gore, the more serious Dynamite heroes are surveying the larger situation and its dire stakes. Writer Fred Van Lente is stacking the odds against them in this fast-paced first issue and it looks like plenty of mayhem is on the way.
