Captain Marvel and the Carol Corps was a four-issue Secret Wars tie-in published in 2015. Captain Marvel is leading an elite team based at Hala Field where they engage in dangerous, high flying missions. It starts out with Captain Marvel and her squadron aiming to protect their slice of Battleworld, but in the process run into Doom’s army of Thors, and start to unravel the secrets of their reality. After learning that one of their missions was filled with false intel, Carol and her team must decide if they are willing to challenge authority and search for what’s on the other side of the sky.

Captain Marvel and the Carol Corps was a great tie-in book, featuring the talented writing team of Kelly Sue Deconnick and Kelly Thompson. It is filled with exciting plans, layers of doubt, and complications within the team dynamics. Add in conflicts with Doom and appearances by Rhodey, and this is an action-filled, fast-paced read.
