Silver gave Wyatt the slip and has headed for Phoenix, while the latter seeks help from the people Silver’s mother was going to meet in Star Valley. Meanwhile, Cecil has convinced Jasper that they must kill Silver to save the world from an impending apocalypse. All of this happens while more earthquakes, hurricanes, and volcanic eruptions occur around the world.

The situation has become intense and even more morally complicated. Writer Ed Brisson is building the stakes on a global scale with a multitude of natural disasters, and on the personal scale as Wyatt and Jasper find themselves on opposite sides of a life and death situation. For this issue, artist C.P. Smith keeps things dark and moody with torrential rain and lightning for that stormy ambiance.
