The Silver Shrike’s murder has united the Green Hornet and Miss Fury to find his killer. So far, the situation is going from bad to worse. Green Hornet was attacked at the end of the last issue, and now, he and Kato must neutralize the attacker and avoid getting arrested. Meanwhile, Miss Fury follows a hunch that leads her right to the mastermind behind the deaths of so many masked heroes.
The pace definitely picks up in this issue as things go from bad to worse. Writers Alex Segura and Henry Barajas slow things down between the action by showing revealing flashbacks between our heroes and the fallen Silver Shrike. While the person orchestrating the killings isn’t that big of a surprise, the character development is good and the story mixes superheroes with a detective tale, and adds a thriller element in this one.
Artist Federico Sorressa and colorist Lesley Atlansky did a great job on this one, infusing the script with drama, conflict, and excitement from page to page.
