Two original members of The Flash are exiting the show after seven seasons. Carlos Valdes who plays Cisco Ramon and Tom Cavanagh who plays the various versions of Harrison Wells are both ending their runs as series regulars once the current season concludes.

Valdes will make his final appearance as a series regular in the season seven finale. Cavanagh confirmed that he already ended his time as a series regular in the third episode of the current season, which wrapped the season six arc. He has appeared since then as a guest star.

Though they are leaving the series as regular cast members, both actors could return for guest appearances.

“Tom and Carlos have been an integral part of our show for seven seasons, and will be greatly missed,” The Flash showrunner Eric Wallace said in a statement. “Both are incredible talents who created beloved characters that fans and audiences around the world have come to love. Which is why we are happily keeping the door open for return appearances.”
