Viz Media made some new announcements regarding some upcoming projects and releases at their annual Comic-Con panel on Thursday. The company also highlighted many of the anime shows and manga releases that had previously been featured at Anime Expo just a few weeks ago, such as the upcoming releases of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and Revolutionary Girl Utena.

New books shown off included an upcoming series of Studio Ghibli picture books based on the studio's many beloved films. The Viz representatives said the series would be great for fans of all ages.

Also announced was a collected edition of The Super Mario Adventures, a series which originally ran in Nintendo Power magazine in the early 1990s and has been out of print for more than 20 years. Coinciding with that will be another Nintendo property, The Legend of Zelda, which will have another manga series released soon. The specific series was not announced; the most recent Zelda manga in Japan was Twilight Princess.
