ABC has announced that a digital spinoff series has been ordered for Agents of SHIELD. The new show, Agents of SHIELD: Slingshot, will follow Elena Rodriguez, a/k/a Yo-Yo, the inhuman with the ability to use superspeed but only for instances before superspeeding back to the original location.

The digital series will be a prequel that leads into next year’s season four of Agents of SHIELD.

“The digital series features Elena ‘Yo-Yo’ Rodriguez, an inhuman with the ability to move at superspeed. As a person with powers, she must sign the Sokovia Accords,” Marvel’s description reads. “However, the restrictions of the Accords are in direct conflict with a personal mission she’s desperate to fulfill, one that will test her abilities and will include tense encounters with SHIELD team members.”

Slingshot is scheduled to premiere online on December 13, 2016.
