Mike Carbo's New York Comic Book Marketplace, the much-loved Big Apple Con (NYCBM), returns for a two-day extravaganza next month, March 11-12, 2017. Metropolis will be there with their usual display of vintage comics and original comic art, plus ComicConnect will be set up alongside, displaying prime selections from their upcoming Event Auction XXX.

“Any Carbo show is always one of my favorite shows of the year,” said Metro’s COO Vincent Zurzolo. “So many great collectors come to Big Apple Con who are serious buyers, and they know their stuff, so the books practically sell themselves! We are primed for our biggest Carbo show ever!”

“We’ll be armed with hundreds of keys, grails, and rarities from our mighty inventory of over 150,000 vintage comics,” stated Frank Cwiklik, Director of Sales. “If you would like me to personally bring specific books for you, please contact me promptly at (800) 229-6387 or email me at orders@metropoliscomics.com and we will get the books ready for the show. Carbo’s NYCBM will be held at the Penn Plaza Pavilion, 401 7th Avenue W. 33rd Street, in New York on Saturday, March 11 from 10 AM to 7 PM and Sunday, March from 10 AM to 5 PM.

“While our Director of Consignments will be on-hand both days accepting consignments towards our Spring Special Auction, I am making cash offers to buy comics and collections on the spot,” Zurzolo said. “Don’t leave the show until you get my offer.”
