Valiant Entertainment has just announced that CGC will now accept and certify all copies of the Secret Weapons #1 Valiant Validated Signature Series (VVSS) edition with the official CGC Signature Series label. To be certified, issues must be received by CGC within 90 days of the issue’s June 28, 2017 on sale date.
This issue features cover art by series artist Raul Allen, a handwritten signature from Academy Award-nominated writer Eric Heisserer, and an official VVSS embossed seal. All copies must be received by CGC by September 27 to qualify for official CGC Signature Series certification. Copies received after that date are ineligible for a CGC Signature Series label and will be graded at CGC’s discretion. The signed Valiant Certificate of Authenticity included will not be encased with the graded comic and can remain with its owner. The Secret Weapons #1 VVSS edition will be limited to the number of qualifying retailer orders.
Secret Weapons #1 features Academy Award-nominated writer Heisserer (Arrival) and visionary artists Allen and Patricia Martin (Wrath of the Eternal Warrior). This epic new series joins the publisher’s seismic 2018 crossover event, The Road to Harbinger Wars 2. The government has sent Amanda McKee, the technopath codenamed Livewire, to investigate a secret facility run by Toyo Harada.
