Get your Comic-Con weekend started right with some of the comic industry’s greatest creators at the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund’s (CBLDF) Comic-Con Welcome Party. This epic celebration is sponsored by Image Comics and comiXology, and features a special gallery display from Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab. This event is taking place on July 20, 2017, from 8 PM to 11 PM, located at the Westgate Hotel on 1055 2nd Avenue in San Diego.

CBLDF is welcoming attendees to a night of astonishing artwork, outstanding exclusives, and amazing creators. Dozens of creators are expected to stop by, with Marc Bernardin, Nick Dragotta, Brenden Fletcher, Sina Grace, Megan Hutchinson, Jock, Jeff Lemire, Dustin Nguyen, Amy Reeder, Nicola Scott, Gail Simone, Joshua Williamson, and more already confirmed! The first hundred attendees will also get an amazing gift bag, that includes a t-shirt courtesy of Image Comics, two surprise items courtesy of comiXology, and more.

Celebrate ComiXology’s 10th anniversary, with a free drink ticket to the first hundred to arrive courtesy of comiXology. Head over to the Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab/Trading Post to test their new censored scent, reminiscent of sugar crust with a hint of cherry meringue, which will only be available at the CBLDF Welcome Party. Also debuting is Neil Gaiman's Fifteen Painted Cards From a Vampire Tarot, plus Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab’s full series of Neil Gaiman’s American Gods fragrances. All proceeds from the welcome party will benefit CBLDF.

Get first dibs on CBLDF Exclusives, including all-new stickers, patches, and pins at the party. Then preview the incredible items in CBLDF’s Comic-Con Auction, such as original art by Frank Miller, Charlie Adlard, John Cassaday, Jeff Lemire, Jock, Sean Philips, and many more. This auction – sponsored by IDW Publishing, Splash Page Comic Art, and the San Diego Comic Art gallery – is taking place on July 22.
