Director Ron Howard has revealed that the Han Solo movie will be called Solo: A Star Wars Story. Since Howard took over as director (following the departure of directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller) he has been using social media to give teasers on the upcoming film. He presented the title through a video on Twitter.

Solo is the second standalone movie in the Star Wars universe, following Rogue One, which grossed $1.06 billion at the global box office in 2016. That movie’s full title is Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, which is likely an indicator that all standalone films will carry the A Star Wars Story moniker.

Solo stars Alden Ehrenreich as Han Solo, Joonas Suotamo as Chewbacca, and Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian, along with Emilia Clarke, Paul Bettany, Woody Harrelson, Thandie Newton, Warwick Davis, Clint Howard, and several others. The movie is set for release on May 25, 2018.

The next film in the larger series, The Last Jedi, will be released in under two months on December 15, 2017.
