Metropolis Gallery’s current Walking Dead exhibit features original comic art, TV production art, and CGC-certified comics celebrating the Walking Dead phenomenon. Metropolis Gallery is working with the 2017 Garment District Arts Festival and is open this Friday, October 20 from 6 PM to 9 PM. Thereafter, the exhibit is open for viewing Tuesday to Friday, 11 AM to 5 PM until December 1.

“The Walking Dead is a worldwide phenomenon,” said Vincent Zurzolo, Curator of the gallery. “Yes, it’s about zombies, but what hooks people in is watching people make their way in a post-apocalyptic world without rules ‒ and of course, with zombies.”

The gallery show precedes a massive Walking Dead Auction ‒ featuring more than 500 pieces of art and 750 comic books ‒ ending on December 5 on Metropolis’ online auction site, ComicConnect.com. Metropolis Gallery, the creation of Metropolis Collectibles, the world’s largest vintage comic collectibles dealer, is located at 36 West 37th Street, 6th Floor.
