The Hellboy reboot starring David Harbour as Big Red ‒ who currently plays the loveable, brave Police Chief Hopper on Stranger Things – has been given a release date. The Lionsgate and Millennium film based on the comics by Mike Mignola will hit theaters on January 11, 2019.

At this point, plot details are scarce, though it is separate from Guillermo del Toro’s film series of the mid-2000s. It will be directed by Neil Marshall, who helmed the cult horror hit The Descent and Game of Thrones episodes “The Watchers on the Wall” and “Blackwater.” In June, Marshall shared that the film was given permission for an R-rating, so the scope of action won’t be limited by a lower rating.

The cast includes Milla Jovovich as the villainous Blood Queen, Ian McShane as Professor Broom, Daniel Dae Kim as Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense officer Ben Daimio, and Sasha Lane as Alice Monaghan.
